The massive and bizarre towers of San Martino rise from the rocky plateau. Those who climb here, on the southernmost massif of the Dolomites, need strong nerves – and equally strong equipment. We designed our MERINO SHIELD TEC line precisely for these long alpine routes!

The extremely abrasion-resistant outer material of the women’s PALA LIGHT VEST has withstood over 50,000 rubbing cycles in the Martindale test, which verifies abrasion resistance. Additional inserts provide maximum protection from rough rocks in particularly exposed areas such as the shoulders, forearms and hips. The four-way stretch fabric ensures complete freedom of movement, supported by an athletic cut and pre-shaped elbows. Thanks to its membrane-free construction, the women’s PALA LIGHT VEST is particularly breathable and the fine Merino wool on the inside and Merino MESH inserts in the collar make it even more comfortable to wear.

The athletic cut and elastic hems ensure an optimal fit and maximum freedom of movement during climbing. The chest pocket has room for a topographic map, mobile phone, energy bar or other small items that need to be easily accessible during a long day in the mountains.

For the sake of the environment, the entire MERINO SHIELD TEC line is completely PFC-free and climate-neutral with CO2 offsetting. With its modern look, the women’s PALA LIGHT VEST is ready to tackle long climbs on high rock walls.
