The massive and bizarre San Martino towers rise from the rocky plateau. Anyone climbing here, on the southernmost massif of the Dolomites, needs strong nerves – and equally strong equipment. We designed our MERINO SHIELD TEC line specifically for these long alpine routes!

The extremely abrasion-resistant outer material of the men’s PALA LIGHT VEST passed over 50,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test, which verifies wear resistance. Additional inserts provide maximum protection from rough rocks in particularly exposed areas such as the shoulders, forearms, and hips. The 4-way stretch fabric ensures full freedom of movement, supported by an athletic cut and pre-shaped elbows. Thanks to its membrane-free construction, the men’s PALA LIGHT VEST is particularly breathable, while the fine Merino wool inside and Merino MESH inserts in the collar make it even more comfortable to wear.

The athletic cut and elastic hems guarantee an optimal fit and maximum freedom of movement while climbing. The chest pocket has space for a topo map, cell phone, energy bar, or other small items that need to be easily accessible during a long day in the mountains.

For the sake of the environment, the entire MERINO SHIELD TEC line is completely PFC-free and climate-neutral with CO2 compensation. With its modern look, the men’s PALA LIGHT VEST is ready to tackle long climbs on high rock faces.
