The massive and bizarre San Martino towers rise from the rocky plateau. Anyone climbing here, on the southernmost massif of the Dolomites, needs strong nerves – and equally strong equipment. We designed our MERINO SHIELD TEC line specifically for these long alpine routes!

The extremely abrasion-resistant outer material of the men’s PALA HOODED JACKET passed over 50,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test, used to verify wear resistance. Additional inserts provide maximum protection from rough rocks in particularly exposed areas such as the shoulders, forearms, and hips. The 4-way stretch fabric ensures full freedom of movement, supported by an athletic cut and pre-shaped elbows. Thanks to its membrane-free construction, the men’s PALA HOODED JACKET is particularly breathable, and the fine Merino wool on the inside makes it even more comfortable to wear.

The self-adjusting hood fits under a climbing helmet, and the cuffs and hem are elasticated and comfortable. Thanks to the High Reach Performance Fit, the men’s PALA HOODED JACKET adapts to every movement and is fully designed for climbing. Small items that need to be easily accessible during a long day of climbing can be stored in the chest pocket and the two front pockets optimized for harnesses and backpacks.

For the sake of the environment, the entire MERINO SHIELD TEC line is completely PFC-free and climate-neutral with CO2 compensation. With its modern look, the men’s PALA HOODED JACKET is ready for long climbs on high rock faces.
