The massive and bizarre towers of San Martino rise from the rocky plateau. Anyone who climbs here on the southernmost massif of the Dolomites needs strong nerves – and just as strong material. We have designed our MERINO SHIELD TEC line especially for these long alpine routes!

The extremely abrasion-resistant outer material of the men’s PALA LIGHT VEST has surpassed over 50,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test, which verifies abrasion resistance. Additional inserts provide maximum protection from rough rocks in particularly exposed areas such as the shoulders, forearms, and hips. The four-way stretch fabric ensures full freedom of movement, supported by an athletic cut and pre-shaped elbows. Thanks to its membrane-free construction, the men’s PALA LIGHT VEST is particularly breathable, and the fine Merino wool inside and Merino MESH inserts in the collar make it even more comfortable to wear.

The athletic cut and elastic hems ensure an optimal fit and maximum freedom of movement when climbing. In the chest pocket there is space for the topographic map, mobile phone, a bar or other small items that should be easily at hand during a long day in the mountains.

For the sake of the environment, the entire MERINO SHIELD TEC line is completely PFC-free and climate-neutral with CO2 compensation. With its modern look, the men’s PALA LIGHT VEST is capable of tackling long climbs on high rock walls.
