The extremely abrasion-resistant outer material of the men’s PALA HOODED JACKET has withstood over 50,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test, which verifies abrasion resistance. Additional inserts provide maximum protection from rough rocks in particularly exposed areas such as the shoulders, forearms, and hips. The four-way stretch fabric ensures full freedom of movement, supported by an athletic cut and pre-shaped elbows. Thanks to its membrane-free construction, the men’s PALA HOODED JACKET is particularly breathable, and the fine Merino wool inside is even more pleasant to wear.

The self-adjusting hood fits under the climbing helmet, and the cuffs and hem are elastic and comfortable. Thanks to the High Reach Performance Fit, the men’s PALA HOODED JACKET adapts to every movement and is fully designed for climbing. Small items that need to be easily accessible during a long day of climbing can be stored in the chest pocket and the two front pockets optimized for harness and backpack.

For the sake of the environment, the entire MERINO SHIELD TEC line is completely PFC-free and climate-neutral with CO2 compensation. With its modern look, the men’s PALA HOODED JACKET is capable of tackling long climbs on high rock walls.
