ORTOVOX breaks new ground: the DIRACT VOICE is the world’s first avalanche transceiver with fully integrated voice navigation, which in an emergency guides you quickly and with maximum reliability to the position of buried companions. Clear and comprehensible instructions assist you in every phase of the search, to help you maintain calm even when it comes to saving the lives of your companions. The display from first reception is extremely stable, which means less stress in an emergency and greater search speed. The 3-antenna device is equipped with patented Smart Antenna technology, which analyzes the position data of the device in the avalanche and automatically switches to the best transmission antenna. In this way you have double range and will be easier to locate. The logical and essential design of DIRACT VOICE enables practical and intuitive use, since, with a single button, you can quickly mark avalanche victims or switch to stand-by mode. Post-avalanche protection automatically switches from Search and Standby mode to Transmit mode to ensure total protection of searchers. Even in extremely difficult light conditions, the extra-large fully graphic display is easy to read and provides intuitive guidance to the user even in stress situations, thanks to clear indications and real-time 360° visualization. Thanks to the rubberized grip zones, the avalanche transceiver, handy and light (210 grams), can be gripped with gloves in complete safety and can be slipped comfortably into the trouser pocket, when not residing in the quick-access attachment system which, when released, automatically ejects the avalanche transceiver. In this way the DIRACT VOICE is always at hand and ready for immediate use. The RECCO® reflector integrated in the attachment system offers as backup an additional chance, for even easier localization. The DIRACT is equipped with a low-temperature rechargeable battery, particularly durable and ecological. Even at -20°C, the low-temperature battery delivers energy reliably and does not discharge, unlike normal batteries. The free ORTOVOX APP (Apple iOS & Android) enables automatic software updates, a 5-year warranty extension, and useful video tutorials.
