The STIHL HTA 30 battery pruner, with its ergonomic and intuitive design, allows ambitious individuals to work efficiently and comfortably in the care of land, gardens, and trees. Thanks to the rigid and tool-free adjustable telescopic handle and the automatic chain tensioning with integrated spring mechanism, the STIHL HTA 30 provides efficient support in pruning high branches, as well as in tree care and deadwood removal. The chain tension can be optimally adjusted with a single gesture, simply by opening and closing the sprocket cover: quickly and intuitively, for minimal interruptions during work. The tensioning lever integrated into the branch hook ensures the correct preload of the chain and facilitates the quick and tool-free assembly of the cutting unit after cleaning or chain replacement. The tensioning lever and all other controls of the HTA 30 are easily operable even with work gloves.

The electric motor is low-vibration and quiet, allowing maintenance work to be carried out without hearing protection and even in noise-sensitive areas. The particularly compact and slim cutting head offers good visibility of the bar during cutting and high agility in maneuvering in tight spaces on trees. For clean cutting and rapid work progress, the HTA 30 is equipped with a STIHL 1/4″-PM3 chain and a STIHL Light 01 guide bar. This allows for clean and comfortable cutting of branches with a diameter of up to 17 cm.

Using the STIHL HTA 30 is simple and is done via the handle with soft grip elements and ergonomic release. To ensure comfortable work, the pole is equipped with a rubberized handle that allows it to be grasped quickly and flexibly along its entire length, depending on the working height. Thanks to the release on both sides, the ergonomic design of the handle, and the very light overall weight of 3.6 kg, working with the HTA 30 is very flexible, efficient, and requires little effort. Another feature of the STIHL HTA 30 is the robust stand integrated into the housing, which protects the tool from dirt and moisture. Additionally, the HTA 30 is equipped with a hook eyelet to which an optional single shoulder strap can be attached and a suspension eyelet for convenient wall storage.

The continuously adjustable telescopic handle of the STIHL HTA 30 can be extended up to a length of 280 cm, with the total length of the tool varying from 190 cm to 280 cm. The HTA 30 is suitable for working heights up to 4.5 m with the extended telescopic handle and can be transported more easily in a shortened form. With a maximum of 140 cuts with 28 minutes of runtime per charge of the AS 2 battery (measured on 5 x 5 cm dry spruce wood beams), the HTA 30 offers sufficient performance for most maintenance tasks.
