Self-braking descender with anti-panic function for evacuations on anchor

The I’D EVAC self-braking descender is mainly intended for evacuations on anchors. Specifically geared for handling the load at the anchor, the ergonomic handle allows you to comfortably control the descent. The integrated panic function and the anti-error cam reduce the risk of accidents in the event of incorrect use. The AUTO-LOCK system allows you to lock the rope automatically, without having to use the handle and make the stop key. Once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to use the handle. The opening click allows the rope to be installed while keeping the device connected to the anchor. The I’D EVAC is compatible with ropes from 10 to 11.5 mm and allows the handling of loads up to 250 kg.

Designed for evacuations on anchor.
Ease of use:
– it has an opening click on the mobile flange that allows you to easily insert the rope, keeping the device connected to the anchor,
– easy installation of the rope, thanks to the guide and indicative markings,
– anti-error cam to limit the risk of accident due to incorrect insertion of the rope,
– Ergonomic handle that allows you to free the rope and comfortably control the descent. Two descent options: on the flange or in the V-shaped brake groove. The handle is specifically oriented for handling the load at the anchor
,- anti-panic function that automatically stops the descent if the user pulls the handle too hard,
– AUTO-LOCK system that allows the rope to be automatically locked, without having to use the handle and make the stop key. Automatic return of the handle reduces the risk of unintentional snagging,
automatic passage of the handle to the rest position when the rope is removed from the device, which reduces the risks of unintentional snagging when carrying the descender on the harness.
Versatility of use:
– once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to use the handle, allowing a recovery system to be reversible,
– screw that allows the mobile flange to be locked to integrate the I’D EVAC into evacuation kits,
– additional open brake to increase the braking action according to the load and the diameter of the rope and install or free the rope at any time.
Protective reinforcement, in stainless steel in the area where the rope rubs, which allows to increase wear resistance.
Heavy load lowering up to 250 kg.
Rope compatibility: from 10 to 11.5 mm in diameter.
Available in two colors: yellow and black.
