The massive and bizarre towers of San Martino rise from the rocky plateau. Those who climb here, on the southernmost massif of the Dolomites, need strong nerves – and equally strong gear. We designed our MERINO SHIELD TEC line precisely for these long alpine routes!

The extremely abrasion-resistant outer material of the men’s PALA PANTS exceeds 50,000 rub cycles in the Martindale test, which verifies abrasion resistance. Additional inserts in the pre-shaped knee area offer maximum protection from rough rocks. The four-way stretch material allows maximum freedom of movement, supported by an athletic cut. Thanks to the membrane-free construction, the men’s PALA PANTS are particularly breathable, while the fine Merino wool inside and the MERINO MESH at the waist ensure high comfort. Thanks to the top pockets optimized for harness and backpack and the map pocket, everything you need will always be within reach. The adjustable hem and waistband ensure an optimal fit with every movement. For the sake of the environment, the entire MERINO SHIELD TEC line is also completely PFC-free and climate-neutral with CO2 compensation.
