Spire is a next-generation shoe for fast hiking. It adopts solutions that are part of La Sportiva’s DNA for the mountains, combining technologies and concepts derived from the Mountain Running and Mountain categories to create a versatile, waterproof and breathable shoe at 360° thanks to the new GORE-TEX SURROUND® technology: the exclusive membrane that guarantees 360° breathability thanks to the larger ventilation surface that includes the upper, the EVA footbed and midsole with TPU side ventilation outlets. The ventilation channels, visible along the profile of the midsole, are protected by an extremely resistant mono nylon mesh, to prevent stones and other impurities from entering the ventilation inlets. The mid-cut upper uses Nano-Cells 2.0™ construction, super breathable cells that work in synergy with the GORE-TEX SURROUND® membrane to offer unprecedented levels of breathability. The lower part of the boot incorporates the Stability control System™, a stabilizing control system that integrates the ventilation outlets with GORE-TEX SURROUND® technology. The Vibram XS Trek sole offers excellent grip on hard, soft and muddy terrain. Breathability and comfort are guaranteed at 360 °.
