Jackal is the mountain running shoe dedicated to off-road ultra-distances and extended training sessions over medium distances, thanks to the exceptional cushioning guaranteed by the innovative Infinitoo™ high energy return technology. Every detail, from the upper to the sole, is designed to enhance foot comfort over long distances: a comfortable fit and wide last designed for ultra-marathons, a soft, wrap-around “Comfort Fit” elastic tongue for maximum freedom of movement, and internal gusset construction for protection against stones and mud. The lacing features loops incorporated directly into the side panels of the upper: a solution that facilitates volume adjustment during long-distance runs when the foot tends to swell. The lateral Net-Mesh promotes ventilation and climate comfort. The heart of the Jackal, however, lies in the innovative EVA sole/midsole package with internal cushioning pads in Infinitoo™ Technology high energy return polyurethane. The front element increases cushioning, while the rear insert contributes to running stability. The midsole also integrates a high-density EVA Rock-Shield insert for a more stable ride and rock-guard effect. The tread is made of FriXion Red compound with Impact Brake System lugs of varying thickness and longitudinal FLEX grooves that facilitate sole flexion along the fold lines. The lightweight, shock-resistant thermo-molded toe cap provides protection, while the dual-compound FriXion Red sole ensures maximum grip and durability.
