Akyra is a structured and protective mountain running shoe designed for endurance routes such as Ultra Trails and Ultra Marathons. Particularly supportive, comfortable and protective, it’s a trail shoe designed for extended use on off-road terrain.

Features a highly supportive and comfortable upper structured in 3 layers that provide from inside to outside: comfort, thanks to seamless construction, flexibility and structure thanks to the innovative MicroLite Skeleton™ application that dynamically follows foot movement during running, protection thanks to Flex-Guard™ structural microfiber applications that keep the shoe lightweight while providing a barrier against abrasions when running among rocks and roots. Exceptional stability is provided by TrailCage System™ technology positioned between the two upper layers, giving structure and support while integrating with the lacing system. The sole developed by La Sportiva’s R&D department features the new grippy FriXion XT tread with Impact Brake System and exclusive design with Trail Rocker technology that promotes the natural “outer heel-inner toe” foot strike during running. Cushioning, protection and comfort, 3 sides of perfect geometry: origami, which inspires the shoe’s overall design. With Akyra, running is an art.
