Upper material: Waterproof leather, hydrophobic, breathable (5.0 mg/cm²/h), 2.0 – 2.2 mm thick. Inner lining: CROSSTECH® Laminate Technology; 3-layer CROSSTECH® laminate, waterproof and breathable. Abrasion-resistant lining fabric with optimal climate comfort for all seasons, especially for flexible alternating use indoors and outdoors. Excellent penetration protection against blood and other bodily fluids (protection against resulting viruses and bacteria). Enhanced chemical protection. Insole: Comfortable, cushioning and moisture-wicking. Separate heel cup provides good cushioning and foot guidance. “AIRFLOW” channels. “Perfect-Fit” marking for optimal verification of correct shoe size. HAIX® Composite Safety Toe Cap: Anatomically shaped, ultra-lightweight safety toe cap made of fiber-reinforced plastic for highest safety requirements. Penetration-resistant sole: Flexible, lightweight and penetration-resistant metallic midsole insert. Non-woven insole: Moisture-absorbing non-woven insole. Sole: Rubber/PU sole with robust street/terrain tread, enhanced rolling comfort, abrasion-resistant and slip-resistant – even in cold conditions. The PU cushioning wedge with its low weight ensures excellent walking properties. Very good insulation against cold. The outsole is heat-, oil- and gasoline-resistant and non-marking. According to EN ISO 20345:2012 / EN 15090:2012. HAIX® AS System: The HAIX Arch Support System supports the natural arch of the midfoot. Toes and ball of foot have sufficient space. Effectively prevents foot misalignment. HAIX® TPU Toe Cap: Cap for additional protection and high resistance to abrasion. HAIX® Climate System: The HAIX Climate System uses the pumping motion created while walking and transports moisture to the ventilation openings on the shaft and tongue. Sun Reflect: Reduces the heating effect of the upper leather from sun exposure. Sunlight is reflected by the leather, so less heat is conducted to the foot. HAIX® Vario Wide Fit System: The boot can be individually adjusted in width using 3 different insoles. The red insole (medium) is supplied with the boot. An insole in yellow (wide) and blue (narrow) must be ordered separately.
