La Sportiva TX1 – Approach shoes

The La Sportiva TX1 are lightweight, technical, and breathable approach shoes, designed to offer an excellent balance between comfort, stability, sensitivity, and precision.

Designed to move safely on different types of terrain, they are ideal for approaches to crags and boulders, for climbing days, and for indoor sessions. The lightweight and breathable construction makes them particularly suitable even for the hottest days.

The low-profile design, with a 5 mm drop and flat rocker, keeps your foot close to the ground, increasing sensitivity, precision, and stability. A particularly valuable feature when transitioning from walking to more technical rock sections.

The wide fit is designed to ensure long-lasting comfort and reduce annoying pressure points, while the lacing system, inspired by climbing shoes, allows for a precise, wrapping, and customizable adjustment.

Durable, lightweight, and breathable upper

The synthetic upper in High Tenacity Mesh, made of PES with TPU reinforcements and recycled yarns, combines lightness and breathability with high abrasion resistance.

The asymmetrical construction offers greater support on technical terrain, while the wrapping heel helps keep your foot stable even during the most demanding passages.

The reinforced TPU toe cap protects your toes from impact and abrasion without adding excessive weight to the shoe. The heat-sealed microfiber rand further increases protection and helps extend the life of the footwear.

Vibram® MegaGrip™ Sole and Climbing Zone

The Vibram® MegaGrip™ rubber sole offers an excellent combination of grip, durability, and traction, ensuring safety during approaches and excellent grip on more technical passages.

The tread integrates a specific Climbing Zone at the toe, designed to increase precision and control when you need to use small holds or tackle rock passages.

The compression-molded EVA midsole, made with 7% recycled material, offers a great balance of cushioning, comfort, and support.

Completing the structure is the 4 mm Ortholite® Hybrid™ insole, made with recycled materials and designed to offer additional comfort during prolonged use.

Resole Platform – Designed to last

The TX1 features the Resole Platform insert, developed to facilitate any repair and resoling work using original La Sportiva soles.

A solution that allows you to extend the life cycle of the shoe and continue using it even after the original sole has worn out.
