Spire is the new generation fast hiking shoe. It adopts solutions from La Sportiva’s mountain DNA, combining them with Mountain Running technologies and concepts for a versatile, waterproof, and super breathable product thanks to the new GORE-TEX SURROUND® technology: an exclusive technology that allows total breathability thanks to the larger aeration surface including the upper, footbed, and the EVA and TPU midsole with lateral perforations. The aeration channels visible along the midsole profile are protected by a highly resistant mono-burr Nylon mesh to prevent pebbles and impurities from entering. The low-cut upper is made with Nano-Cells 2.0™ structure consisting of super breathable cells that work in synergy with the GORE-TEX SURROUND® membrane for unprecedented increased breathability. The lower part of the shoe integrates the Stability control System™, an anti-torsional stabilization system that incorporates the GORE-TEX SURROUND® technology aeration holes. The outsole is in Vibram XS Trek compound for excellent grip on hard, soft, and muddy terrain. 360-degree breathability and comfort.
