The fit is ergonomic and precise thanks to the special all-around lacing system that wraps the shoe 360°, connecting to the lacing system. The lacing also innovatively wraps the midsole in the front section, contributing to even tension distribution across the entire shoe. This construction system derives from the know-how developed by La Sportiva in the world of climbing shoes. The rubber toe cap is also derived from climbing shoes with a construction that allows continuity between the rand and sole for greater sensitivity while climbing. The EVA midsole features a “Rock Guard” platform at the toe and a cushioning insert in the rear section to facilitate ankle support, preventing unnatural twisting. The Vibram Idrogrip sole was designed with specific characteristics for approach and features an Impact Brake System on the heel and inner section, suction lugs on the outer section, and a climbing zone at the toe. The ultimate in La Sportiva technology applied to approach footwear.
