Compact self-braking descender for difficult access for experienced users

The RIG compact self-braking descender for difficult access is designed for experienced users. It is equipped with an ergonomic handle to comfortably control the descent. The AUTO-LOCK system allows you to easily position yourself at the workplace, without having to use the handle and make the stop key. Once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to use the handle. The opening click allows the rope to be installed while keeping the device connected to the harness.

Description

Designed for experienced users in hard-to-access areas.
Ease of use:
– it has an opening click on the movable flange that allows you to easily insert the rope, keeping the device connected to the harness, and facilitating the passage of the splits,
– easy installation of the rope, thanks to the guide and indicative markings,
– ergonomic handle that allows you to free the rope and comfortably control the descent. Two descent options: on the flange or in the V-shaped braking groove,
– AUTO-LOCK system that allows easy positioning at the workplace, without having to use the handle and make the stop key: when the user releases the handle, the rope is automatically locked in the device. Automatic return of the handle reduces the risk of unintentional snagging,
– automatic passage of the handle to the rest position when the rope is removed from the device, which reduces the risk of unintentional snagging when the descender is carried on the harness.
Versatility of use:
– once locked, the rope can be retrieved without having to use the handle, allowing for example to easily make short ascents on ropes,
– cam that can be used to easily pick up rope or belay a lead climber with climbing technique.
Protective reinforcement, in stainless steel in the rubbing area of the rope, which allow to increase the resistance to wear.
Heavy load descent up to 200 kg.
Rope compatibility: from 10 to 11.5 mm in diameter.
Available in two colors: yellow and black.
