Thanks to its balanced design, compact structure, low weight, and high power, you can perform short cuts on building and paving stones, cut construction materials, steel reinforcement, and metal profiles, as well as cut metals and composite materials even in tight spaces with high precision.

With the 230 mm cutting wheel of the STIHL TSA 230 cut-off machine, cutting depths of up to 70 mm are possible. The ergonomic handle of the STIHL TSA 230 ensures a secure grip and precise guidance during cutting. The powerful brushless EC motor operates almost wear-free. Its electronic control always optimally adapts power and speed to the material being cut.

Thanks to its emission-free operation, the TSA 230 cordless cut-off machine can also be used inside buildings, such as in halls. Here, the dust generated is extracted directly into a connected wet and dry vacuum cleaner, such as the STIHL SE 133 ME.

Changing the cutting wheel is very simple: just press the spindle lock, loosen the fastening screw with a wrench, and then tighten it again. Other advantages include the coasting brake, which slows down the cutting wheel in seconds, and the STIHL magnesium guard with integrated water guide.

In addition to the STIHL K-ME synthetic resin cutting wheel supplied as standard, other synthetic resin and diamond cutting wheels are available as accessories for the STIHL TSA 230 for a wide range of applications.

All battery-powered devices in the STIHL AP system are designed for regular daily professional use, even in adverse weather conditions. Therefore, they feature tested splash water protection. Effectiveness is proven by rigorous internal tests. The splash water test is based, among others, on the IPX4 standard. The STIHL TSA 230 is also suitable for work in the rain.
