Ergonomic and intuitive, the battery-powered brush cutter STIHL HTA 30 allows ambitious users to efficiently and comfortably perform maintenance work on property, garden, and trees. Thanks to the durable, tool-free adjustable telescopic handle and the automatic chain tensioning with integrated spring mechanism, STIHL HTA 30 provides effective support for pruning high branches, caring for shrubs, and removing dead branches.

The chain tension can be adjusted with a single movement, simply by opening and closing the star cover: quickly and intuitively, to minimize work time. The tensioning lever integrated into the handle ensures correct chain tensioning, so after cleaning or replacing the chain, the cutting tool can be quickly reassembled without tools. The tensioning lever and all other controls of the HTA 30 are easily accessible even with work gloves.

The electric motor is powered by the STIHL AS System batteries. It operates quietly and with low vibrations, allowing cutting work without hearing protection, even in noise-sensitive areas. The particularly compact and narrow cutting head ensures excellent visibility of the guide during cutting and high maneuverability in tight spaces within the tree canopy.

For clean cutting and fast work progress, the HTA 30 is equipped with a STIHL 1/4″ PM3 chain and a STIHL Light 01 guide with a length of 20 cm. This allows comfortable and precise cutting of branches with a diameter of up to 17 cm.

STIHL HTA 30 is easy to maneuver thanks to the handle with soft elements and the ergonomic locking system. For comfortable work, the handle is equipped with a rubber grip that allows quick and flexible adjustment of the handle position according to the working height. The fastening mechanism usable on both sides, the ergonomic shape of the handle, and the very low weight (3.6 kg) ensure flexible, efficient, and less tiring work with the HTA 30.

An additional advantage is the robust integrated support that protects the tool from dirt and moisture. The HTA 30 is also equipped with a hook for attaching the shoulder strap and a separate hook for convenient wall storage.

STIHL HTA 30 The telescopic handle extends up to 280 cm, while the total length of the tool varies from 190 cm to 280 cm. Fully extended, the HTA 30 allows work up to a height of 4.5 m, while in the reduced version it is easily transportable. With a capacity of 140 cuts and a runtime of 28 minutes on a single AS 2 battery charge (tested on dry spruce wood 5 × 5 cm), the HTA 30 offers sufficient power for most maintenance tasks.
