The STIHL HTA 160 cordless pole pruner effectively supports professionals in pruning, arboriculture, municipal administration, as well as agriculture and forestry for branch pruning, removal of dead wood and broken branches, and fruit tree pruning.
The powerful EC motor of the STIHL HTA 160 is powered by lithium-ion batteries from the STIHL AP system. The robust and lightweight magnesium gearbox facilitates maneuvering. The pole pruner can be used to cut branches and trees with a diameter of up to 20 cm. The professional telescopic shaft, featuring a particularly rigid square profile, allows you to easily adjust the desired total length of the HTA 160 up to 405 cm thanks to rapid adjustment. This allows for exact positioning and precise cuts, even in the highest areas of trees, in complete comfort. For tree crown pruning, you can work up to a height of approximately 5 meters. The HTA 160 can be used with STIHL 3/8″ P chains, such as the STIHL 3/8″ P Picco Micro 3 (PM3), or with STIHL 1/4″ P chains like the 1/4″ P Picco Micro 3 (PM3). With STIHL 1/4″ chains, no hearing protection is required, allowing for work in noise-sensitive areas.
A robust pruning hook integrated into the compact cutting head facilitates the gripping and removal of cuttings. The sprocket cover features a sighting line for precise application and lateral chip ejection. All control elements of the STIHL HTA 160 are within reach on the optimized ergonomic control handle with LED display. Thanks to the standard STIHL stand, the motor housing of the pole pruner is protected from contact with the ground. An easy-to-clean air filter, made of metal mesh, promotes optimal motor cooling and thus a long service life for your STIHL HTA 160. The STIHL RTS shoulder harness system, available as an option, allows for maximum strain relief during long-term work while maintaining wide freedom of movement.
The STIHL HTA 160 has a total length between 285 cm and 405 cm.
