The ZG TRK GTX is a boot that wraps around the foot, thanks to four zones of differentiated padding. The model features: an upper design that reinforces and supports the lateral ankle area, an anatomical heel for greater fit precision and support while walking, and an anti-abrasion toe cap. The sole consists of a bi-density polyurethane midsole, which provides support and stability while ensuring shock-absorbing and lightness, and a Vibram® XS TREK EVO compound outsole. A model suited for trekking enthusiasts who want a high-performance, durable, and reliable boot.
UPPER
In water-repellent suede leather, with gusset, Flex Point, and collar made of water-repellent stretch fabric.
The 3D TPU toe cap provides structured forefoot protection, while the TPU Heel Tension system ensures containment and stability in the heel area.
LACING
Newly designed “Speed Lacing” featuring bi-component hardware in lightweight steel and plastic. The advanced toe lacing is divided into two sections: the lower part, equipped with lace loops, allows rapid lace sliding and immediate adjustment of fit volumes in a single movement; the upper part is equipped with a lace lock that separates tension zones and features hooks for smooth and progressive ankle wrapping, ensuring a comfortable fit without constriction.
LINING
The GORE-TEX ePE membrane ensures excellent performance and sustainability, offering waterproofing and breathability. The laminate, free of PFAS, including the durable water repellent (DWR) treatment, demonstrates commitment to responsible chemical management, while also reducing the carbon footprint (according to Higg MSI).
OUTSOLE
Salix Trek designed and developed by SCARPA in collaboration with Vibram®. A durable sole that adapts to various terrain types, with bi-density PU midsole for maximum comfort and lightness. The outsole is made of Vibram® XS TREK rubber.
