With petrol brushcutters, the use of plastic blades results in lower fuel consumption than mowing with a falciante.br /br /line. The scope of delivery also includes 6 spare plastic knives. Optionally, the STIHL PolyCut 48-2 can be equipped with a cutting wire with a diameter of 2.4 mm or 2.7 mm. This is especially useful when working along curbs or other obstacles. You can easily replace STIHL plastic blades. After locking the shaft using the socket supplied with the brush cutter, you can unscrew the mowing head and replace the brush cutter blades. To reduce wear and increase the cutting height, STIHL PolyCut 48?2 is equipped with a skid plate as standard.
