This allows you to work much longer with your battery-powered brush cutter on each battery charge. With gas-powered brush cutters, using plastic blades results in lower fuel consumption compared to mowing with cutting line.br /br /The package also includes 6 replacement plastic blades. Optionally, you can equip the STIHL PolyCut 48-2 with a cutting line with a diameter of 2.4 mm or 2.7 mm. This is particularly useful when working along curbs or other obstacles. You can easily replace the STIHL plastic blades. After locking the shaft using the wrench supplied with the brush cutter, you can unscrew the mowing head and replace the brush cutter blades.
