Compact and lightweight belay device for use with one or two strands of rope and to allow rappelling

The lightest in the Petzl range! VERSO is an easy-to-use belay device. Thanks to it, it is possible to belay a climber or make rappels. The specific design makes it easy for the rope to slide through the device, protecting it from wear and tear. It is suitable for most rope diameters: single 8.5 to 10.5 mm, half 7.1 to 9.2 mm and twin 6.9 to 9.2 mm.

Suitable for all rope diameters:
– compatible with dynamic single ropes with diameters between 8.5 and 11 mm.
– Compatible with dynamic half strings with a diameter of 7.1 to 9.2 mm.
– Compatible with dynamic twin ropes with diameters between 6.9 and 9.2 mm.
Ease of use:
– common technique, based on the accompaniment of the rope in the device and the permanent holding of one hand on the rope on the braking side,
– control of the braking action, thanks to the grooved V-shaped braking grooves,
– fluidity of the rope sliding in the device,
– allows a climber to be secured and abseiled,
– installation drawings engraved on the belay device (for belaying and abseiling).
Lightness and strength:
– compact and ultra-light: only 55 g.
– Longer service life, thanks to the rounded design of the grommet, which reduces wear and tear on the device.
