Modular crampons for ice-climbing and dry tooling

They do not lack grit! Technical and lightweight, DART crampons are designed for ice-climbing and dry tooling. With modular front tips (short/long single-point, two-point or asymmetrical two-point), they are suitable for all difficult climbs, from snow couloirs to dry tooling. The supports are stable, regardless of the reliefs of the ice (cauliflower, petals), thanks to the side half-tips. The arrangement of the tips allows precise and effective hooking. The LEVERLOCK FIL binding system is compatible with boots with a front and rear edge.

Detailed Description
Very technical and adjustable crampons for the practice of ice-climbing and dry tooling:
– serrated front tips that guarantee excellent penetration into the ice,
– length of the front tips adjustable with a single screw (Petzl patent),
– configured as a single-point, the crampons can be easily transformed into two-point: two-point for snow gullies and gullies, asymmetrical two-point for pure ice, short single-point for ice and long for mixed
– stable supports, regardless of ice reliefs (cauliflower, petals), thanks to the 8 side half-points, including the single-point,
– precise and effective hooking, thanks to the arrangement of the tips,
– third row of tips oriented backwards to make pulling movements,
– steel crampons for maximum resistance,
– LEVERLOCK FIL binding system particularly suitable for boots with edge (front and rear),
– ANTISNOW DART anti-hoof system to reduce the formation of the snow hoof, whatever the snow condition.
Lightness and asymmetry for experienced mountaineers:
– optimized weight: 812 g as a single toe,
– asymmetrical front blocks perfectly suited to technical mountaineering boots.
Complete modularity, thanks to the ALPEN ADAPT system:
– tips, front blocks, bars, anti-hoof system and binding system to be replaced independently,
– compatible with the FLEXLOCK binding system (FIL and BACK FLEX) to adapt to boots without edge,
– compatible with the FIL SMALL front binding to adapt to very narrow boots with edge,
– compatible with the CORD-TEC KIT to give more priority to lightness and compactness.
