TX Guide Leather is the leather version of TX Guide, the most technical shoe in the TX Series La Sportiva line. A perfect combination of split leather, suede for greater adaptability and nubuck, for abrasion resistance, it is dedicated to technical approaches and climbing. It was created for mountain guides and mountain operators looking for a high-performance, long-lasting product with a climbing oriented look & feel. Versatile, light and protective, it is perfect for walk-run & climb approaches with technical solutions and aesthetic features derived from climbing shoes: asymmetrical and advanced lacing, anti-chafing loops at the toe and “overlap” tongue for maximum foot wrapping. The enveloping Adaptable Fit last for maximum performance allows at the same time excellent adaptability to all foot types thanks to the elasticity of the leather. It is very stable at the tip and allows you to maintain the edge when climbing. The Climbing-inspired protective edge is made of lightweight PU-TECH material Lite.Il sole/midsole package is made with a double compression EVA that is shock-absorbing on the heel and stabilizing on the forefoot: the front of the midsole is co-molded with a TPU layer that acts at the same time as a stabilizer of the climbing zone, medial shank and rock-guard layer on the forefoot. The dual Vibram MegaGrip and Idrogrip compound sole is the perfect combination of grip and durability while the pronounced heel facilitates downhill braking and provides greater grip uphill.
