Leather approach shoe, made with innovative solutions in the construction of the upper and the sole/midsole system developed specifically by La Sportiva for the approach world.

The fit is ergonomic and precise thanks to the special mounting system of the all-around tie rod that wraps the shoe at 360 ° connecting to the lacing system. The tie rod also wraps around the midsole in an innovative way at the front, contributing to the distribution of tension evenly throughout the shoe. This construction system derives from the know-how developed by La Sportiva in the world of climbing shoes. The rubber toe cap is also derived from climbing shoes with a construction that allows continuity between edge and sole for greater sensitivity when climbing. The EVA midsole features a “Rock Guard” platform at the toe and a shock-absorbing insert in the back, to facilitate ankle support while avoiding unnatural twisting. The Vibram Idrogrip sole has been made with specific characteristics for the approach and is equipped with an Impact Brake System on the heel and inside, suction cup lugs on the outside and climbing areas on the toe. The ultimate in La Sportiva technology applied to approach footwear.
