Akasha, a Sanskrit term used to describe the lightness of ether, is the shoe in the La Sportiva Running collection with improved cushioning: dedicated to endurance competitions, perfect for long distances, ultramarathons, ultra trails and multi-hour workouts. The comfortable fit is due to several technologies: cushioning thanks to the Cushion Platform™ footbed insert, wide fit, soft, enveloping and breathable upper with slip-on structure to avoid pressure points during the run. The innovative and active Dynamic ProTechTion™ front reinforcements provide protection and structure following the movements of the foot without restriction, while the FriXion XT dual rubber compound sole is equipped with the exclusive Trail Rocker™ system, which follows the natural “outer heel – inner toe” movement during the run. Akasha: The ultra-runner’s codex is expressed through protection, comfort and cushioning.
