DESCRIPTION
Aequilibrium ST GTX is the lightweight technical hiking boot ideal for via ferrata, trekking and traversing on glaciers and mixed terrain. Maximum wearing comfort thanks to the tongue with integrated gusset and the soft snow gaiter placed on the collar. Exceptional walkability thanks to the ‘innovative Double Heel™ heel construction: the very pronounced double rear gusset geometry increases the braking effect on descents and allows a smoother roll, reducing muscle fatigue. Durability and lightness coexist in harmony thanks to the new outsole/midsole package with Rubber Guard™ outer shell construction and internal foam material for accentuated cushoning and lightness derived from fewer rubber layers. The last is Ergonomic: snug and precise with TPU shells integrated into the toe and heel to reinforce the upper. The directional 3D Flex System Evo™ joint with contoured malleolus and anti-abrasion protection allows better control of the footing and perfect ankle mobility. The lacing protection gaiter at the toe protects against chafing. The midsole is semi-bounceable, and the outsole adopts a Vibram® SpringLug Tech tread with Impact Brake System lugs for greater adaptability to hard rock surfaces. Mountaineering in perfect harmony.
