Aequilibrium LT GTX is the heavy-duty alpine hiking boot ideal for backpacking and multi-day hikes at altitude. Exceptional walkability thanks to the innovative Double Heel™ heel construction: the very pronounced double rear gusset geometry increases the braking effect on descents and allows for a smoother roll, reducing muscle fatigue.Durability and lightness coexist in harmony thanks to the new outsole/midsole package with Rubber Guard™ outer shell construction and inner foam material for accentuated cushioning and lightness derived from less use of rubber layers. The last is Ergonomic: snug and precise with TPU shells integrated into the toe and heel to reinforce the upper. The directional 3D Flex System Evo™ joint with contoured malleolus and anti-abrasion protection allows better control of the footing and perfect ankle mobility. Vibram® SpringLug Tech tread with Impact Brake System lugs for better adaptability to hard rock surfaces.
