Inner lining: GORE-TEX® Performance – waterproof and breathable. Highly abrasion-resistant lining with fleece interlayer. Optimal climate comfort for all seasons. Plastic/fleece insole: Moisture-absorbing, dimensionally stable, torsion-resistant, reduces localized pressure (e.g. from stones). HAIX® Protective cap: Anatomically shaped and padded protective cap in a wide design. Insert: Comfortable, cushioning, and moisture-wicking. Separate heel cup ensures good cushioning and foot guidance. Sole: Stable, abrasion-resistant, and non-slip VIBRAM rubber/PU sole with a robust terrain profile. The lightweight PU cushioning wedge provides impact absorption and good rolling comfort. The outsole is heat, fuel resistant, and non-marking. According to EN ISO 20345:2011. HAIX® Climate System: The HAIX® Climate System uses the pumping movement generated while walking to transport moisture to the ventilation openings on the shaft and tongue. GRIP+ Spikes: Metal spikes for screwing into the sole provide additional grip and prevent slipping on branches and felled tree trunks. Other: Lacing system with smooth-running elements, no side seams, edge-stable sole, rubber toe and heel protection for a longer service life, all-round rubber rand for stabilization – protection against stones, thorns, pull-on loop, etc.
