Upper material: Waterproof leather, hydrophobic, breathable (5.0 mg/cm²/h), 2.0 – 2.2 mm thick Lining: CROSSTECH® Laminate Technology; 4-layer CROSSTECH, waterproof and breathable. Abrasion-resistant lining fabric with optimal climate comfort for all seasons, especially for flexible alternating use indoors and outdoors. Excellent penetration protection against blood and other body fluids (protection against resulting viruses and bacteria). Enhanced chemical protection. Insole: Comfortable, cushioning and moisture-wicking. Separate heel cup provides good cushioning and foot guidance. “AIRFLOW” channels. “Perfect-Fit” marking for optimal verification of correct shoe size. HAIX® Composite Safety Toe Cap: Anatomically shaped, ultra-lightweight safety toe cap made of fibre-reinforced plastic for highest safety requirements. Midsole: Moisture-absorbing fleece midsole. HAIX® High Durability Cap System TPU toe cap with special profile for longer service life. Penetration-resistant sole: Flexible, lightweight and penetration-resistant metallic sole insert. Sole: Patent-pending, lightweight rubber/PU sole with sporty appearance and robust street/terrain tread, enhanced rolling comfort, abrasion-resistant and slip-resistant – even in cold conditions. The PU cushioning wedge with its low weight ensures excellent walking properties and very good insulation against cold. The outsole is flame-, heat-, oil- and petrol-resistant and non-marking according to EN 15090:2012. With special inserts in yellow signal colour, visible even in dense smoke. HAIX® Arch Support System: Optimal foot support in the joint area through anatomically shaped lasts; Good foot guidance and secure hold through narrow heel and joint area, providing even more comfort in the comfortable wide forefoot area. HAIX® Identification System: Name field for boot identification. HAIX® Vario Wide Fit System: The shoe can be individually adjusted in width using 3 different insoles. The red insole (medium) is supplied with the shoe. An insole in yellow (wide) and blue (narrow) must be ordered separately. HAIX® Climate System: The HAIX® Climate System uses the pumping motion created when walking and transports moisture to the ventilation openings on the shaft and tongue.
