The flexible belt is the basis of the Forstkoppel system. It consists of a flexible lower belt that is worn in trousers instead of the normal belt. The fleece side of this lower belt connects to the rigid upper belt. Due to its torsional rigidity, the weight of the attached tool modules is evenly distributed over the flanks. The flexible belt also has a safety lock that prevents accidental opening.
