The BastIng ValLink Connection

The intelligent connection between the impact driver and the ValFast mechanical wedge. The ValLink is screwed onto the impact driver only once. Thanks to an eccentric tensioner, it is now possible to quickly connect the impact driver and ValFast.

The spindle wedge thus forms a single unit and can be transported as such.

Additionally, the cordless impact driver and therefore the ValFast can be easily controlled with the forestry tape measure, allowing you to step back a few meters during tree felling so that falling branches on the trunk no longer pose a danger.

By loosening 2 screws, the clamp connection is removed and the impact driver can continue to be used normally.

Description

The BaSt-Ing “ValFast” mechanical felling wedge is used as an alternative to the heavy work with the wedge in wood harvesting. Thanks to the screw wedge, the axe or hammer can be left at home.

The wedge is optimized for use with an impact driver. ValFast uses slide bearings instead of ball or roller bearings. These absorb axial forces. The wedge can also be operated with a ratchet.
