Description

The BaSt-Ing ValFast screw wedge is used as an alternative to the heavy work with the wedge in wood harvesting. Thanks to the mechanical wedge, the axe or hammer can be left at home.

The wedge is optimized for use with an impact driver. In the ValFast, sliding bearings are used instead of ball or roller bearings. These absorb axial forces. The wedge can also be used with a ratchet. Since 2022, it has been made from high-quality CrMo steel from a single piece and thus withstands even the most powerful impact drivers. Additionally, the support and the design of the wedge tip have been revised. ValFast is therefore a robust and well-designed felling wedge for daily use in professional wood harvesting.
