AS 800 Free Ridereder

AS 800 FreeRider – the big brother of the AS 799 Rider. Like the AS 799 Rider, its big brother the AS 800 FreeRider is powered by the Briggs & Stratton 3 Series Intek engine. With its maximum power of 13.0 hp and geared blade transmission, the ride-on lawn mower cuts grass up to 80 cm high. This is due, among other things, to the AS cross-saw blade system. With the cutting deck closed, the grass clippings are broken up evenly and mulched. The grass clippings are deposited in the middle and between the wheels. This ensures that the grass clippings are not stepped on and thus offers greater safety when mowing in wet and sloping conditions. The mower deck also allows you to cut right up to the edge of the lawn. The cutting height can be adjusted centrally and 4 different cutting heights from 35 to 85 mm are available. When the cutting deck reaches the parking position, the cutter bar stops automatically thanks to the mechanical coupling of the blades. The hydrostatic transmission enables progressive driving with speeds of 0.0 to 8.0 km/h forward and 0.0 to 6.0 km/h reverse. This allows for optimal and sensitive speed adjustment for each application. The differential lock offers better propulsion, especially on uneven terrain. It can be activated at any time with the foot pedal.
The integral tubular frame of the AS 800 FreeRiders ensures high stability and resistance to deformation even under heavy loads. The bumper also protects the axles and wheel suspension. The bucket seat, which is adjustable forward and backward, provides the user with a comfortable, upright sitting position and plenty of legroom. In addition, the easy-to-manoeuvre steering ensures fatigue-free operation.
The lawn mower can mow up to 6,800 m² per hour. This is possible thanks to the powerful motor combined with the hydrostatic transmission and the cutting width of 80 cm. The 15-litre tank also ensures a long range. The AS 800 FreeRider is ideal for use on flat or uneven terrain. Thanks to the engine with fuel and oil pump, low centre of gravity and low overall weight of 231 kg, the mower is perfect for slopes. The limits are set by the user’s safety.
