The AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB lawn mower is suitable for mowing slopes up to 45°. This engine complies with the current European Exhaust Gas Directive 97/68/EC and is therefore the only 2-stroke engine on petrol lawn mowers that complies with the Exhaust Gas Directive. The 2-stroke AS engine is equipped with the EasyStart function as standard. The CDI digital ignition system halves the starting speed, so the AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB mower starts very easily. Even in tall, wet grass, the petrol lawn mower develops its full power. This is thanks to the high torque produced by the AS-Motor 2-stroke engine. The third motor shaft bearing, combined with the blade safety support and the friction discs on the blade, ensures optimal protection of the motor.
The 4-wheel drive, combined with the 2-stroke engine, allows you to work in extreme conditions, on uneven and chaotic terrain and even on slopes. The 4-wheel drive ensures excellent propulsion in all conditions. Thanks to its large, aerodynamic drive wheels, the AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB lawn mower always has a firm grip on the ground. If the slope is such that the transmission is no longer able to support it, the brake comes into play. This also acts as a parking brake.
With the Variomat, the driving speed can be adjusted comfortably and gradually to suit different circumstances. The AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB also features a reverse gear. The cutting height can be conveniently adjusted in 6 different positions from 30 to 100 mm per axle. The powerful 6.0 hp 2-stroke engine and 53 cm cutting width allow mowing at up to 2,500 m² per hour. The AS 53 2T ES 4WD RB lawn mower can cut grass up to 40 cm high without any problems.
