STIHL MotoMix 100 Centennial Edition: bio-based special fuel with 60% fewer CO₂ emissions
With STIHL MotoMix 100, STIHL is the first manufacturer of power tools to have developed a special fuel for 2-stroke engines completely based on bio-based raw materials. The pre-mixed fuel consists of 55% ISCC-certified biogenic raw materials and 45% ISCC-certified bio-circular material, based on the ISCC mass balance approach. In this way, STIHL demonstrates that 2-stroke petrol engines can be used more sustainably and that it is possible to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in power tool fleets.

The innovative mixture offers the same proven characteristics as STIHL MotoMix and ensures optimal power delivery, excellent engine lubrication, and flawless operation. At the same time, MotoMix 100 achieves a 60% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to the fossil reference value for petrol of 73.4 gCO₂e/MJ according to the RED (EU) 2018/2001 directive. The special fuel thus combines a more sustainable raw material base with the reliability typical of STIHL in practical use.

STIHL MotoMix 100 will be available in a limited “Centennial Edition” on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the STIHL company in 2026. Customers who are unable to purchase one of the limited containers can alternatively use STIHL MotoMix 20, which is continuously available.

Under optimal conditions, STIHL MotoMix 100 can be stored for up to 5 years. For this purpose, it must be hermetically sealed in technically approved containers and stored at a maximum room temperature of 20 °C, in environments that are as dry as possible and protected from light.

The STIHL fuel filling system is available as an accessory for easy filling of power tools.

The MotoMix 100 special fuel is available in 5 l canisters (Art. no. 07819996313).
