The STIHL MS 462 C-M is a very lightweight professional chainsaw in the 70 cc displacement class. Particularly efficient for forestry work, landscaping and gardening, as well as agriculture. The 4.4 kW (6 HP) power output is ideal for felling and limbing medium and large trees.

Thanks to its weight-optimized components, it weighs only 6.0 kg and is therefore extremely manoeuvrable. In demanding work, every gram counts. It also accelerates quickly and runs at constant maximum speed.

The STIHL MS 462 C-M forestry chainsaw impresses with its powerful STIHL 2-MIX engine and low power-to-weight ratio. The STIHL M-Tronic complete electronic engine management ensures easy starting and optimal engine performance. Other well-designed features of the chainsaw:

Chain changing is simple and fast thanks to the captive nuts on the sprocket cover.
In dusty work, the HD2 air filter with radial seal protects the engine from fine dust and can be easily cleaned, for example with STIHL VarioClean. The combination of the HD2 air filter with the pre-separation, also standard on the MS 462, provides a long-life air filtration system.
