The STIHL MS 400 C-M chainsaw is a new creation, ideal for professional forestry applications. It is particularly suitable for felling, limbing, and processing wood in medium-density forests. The chainsaw stands out for a particularly good power-to-weight ratio in its displacement class. Powerful drive and exceptional acceleration are among its further advantages. This means for you: high cutting speed and agility, as well as very good handling during your work.

The MS 400 C-M is powered by a powerful STIHL 2-MIX engine, which works economically and efficiently. For fast work and optimum engine performance at a constant maximum speed, this chainsaw is equipped with STIHL M-Tronic.

The chainsaw’s comfortable handling starts right from the start-up, supported by the STIHL ElastoStart system. This makes starting particularly easy. The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces vibrations, thus protecting your muscles and joints. Long maintenance intervals are supported by, among other things, the long-life air filter system with pre-separation and the HD2 air filter with an enlarged filter surface.

Other features and benefits of the STIHL MS 400 C-M chainsaw:

• Comfortable work thanks to, for example, the ergonomic handle geometry and the wide knee support
• Tank level clearly visible thanks to the 50% marking on the tank body
• Easier and faster to clean thanks to the smooth underside with longitudinal ribs for less dirt accumulation
• You can optionally equip the MS 400 C-M with a STIHL 3/8″-Rapid HEXA chain for better diagonal cutting performance and longer service life
