Even in cold temperatures, professionals in landscaping, forestry, and municipal services can carry out their work particularly efficiently with the STIHL MSA 260 C-O W cordless chainsaw from the STIHL ALLPRO system. The electric handle heating with durable, maintenance-free heating films can be activated at any time, ensuring a secure grip especially in sub-zero temperatures. You can independently adjust the heating level to 2 settings. The first level is suitable for temperatures between 0 and 10 °C, the second level for temperatures below 0 °C. Thanks to these features and the excellent power-to-weight ratio of the chainsaw, felling and limbing small to medium-sized trees can be carried out particularly effectively.

The high mechanical power combined with the low weight of the MSA 260 C-O W chainsaw allows you to work efficiently with great autonomy even during extended use. To use different chain types for various applications, the interchangeable chain sprocket allows you to switch flexibly from 3/8″ P pitch to .325″ pitch. For energy-efficient work, the motor has a 5-second activation time. If work cannot begin immediately after starting the motor, the motor automatically shuts off after a short time, saving energy.

The oil sensor constantly measures the available quantity of chain bar oil and helps you work with as few interruptions as possible, while also reducing the amount of oil needed during use. STIHL recommends STIHL SynthPlus, STIHL BioPlus, and STIHL ForestPlus chain bar oils. You can also use other clear vegetable or mineral-based chain bar oils.

The STIHL MSA 260 C-O W cordless chainsaw is IPX4 certified, therefore protected against water splashes and can be used even in rain.
