Upper material: Nubuck leather, hydrophobic, breathable (4.0 mg/cm²/h), 2.6 – 2.8 mm thick Inner lining: GORE-TEX® Performance; 4-layer GORE-TEX® laminate, waterproof and breathable. Highly abrasion-resistant lining fabric with fleece interlayer. Optimal climate comfort for all seasons under the highest demands. Enhanced chemical protection. Plastic/fleece insole: Moisture-absorbing plastic/fleece insole. Dimensionally stable, torsion-resistant, reduces point pressure (e.g. from stones). Footbed: Comfortable, cushioning and moisture-wicking. Separate heel cup provides good cushioning and foot guidance. Sole: Rubber/PU sole with proven road/terrain tread, abrasion-resistant and slip-resistant. Optimal strike and roll-off behavior through sporty toe and heel drop. Oil and petrol resistant, non-marking, excellent cold and heat insulation. According to EN ISO 20347:2012. HAIX® Vario Wide Fit System: The shoe can be individually adjusted in width using 3 different insoles. The red insole (medium) is supplied with the shoe. An insole in yellow (wide) and blue (narrow) must be ordered separately. HAIX® Climate System: The HAIX® Climate System uses the pumping motion created when walking and transports moisture via the Micro-Dry lining / ventilation openings on the shaft and tongue.
