Upper material: GORE TEX Extraguard. Lightweight, multi-layer synthetic textile material with integrated waterproof and breathable membrane, low water absorption and fast drying, flame-retardant, durable and easy to care for. The additionally welded Extraguard upper material, together with the Gore Crosstech membrane, offers additional protection against hazardous substances. Inner lining: CROSSTECH® laminate technology, waterproof and breathable. Abrasion-resistant lining material with optimal climate comfort. Excellent penetration protection against blood and other bodily fluids (protection against resulting viruses and bacteria). Insole: Comfortable, cushioning and moisture-wicking. Separate heel cup provides good cushioning and foot guidance. “AIRFLOW” channels. “Perfect-Fit” marking for optimal verification of correct shoe size. HAIX® Composite protective cap: Anatomically shaped, ultra-lightweight protective cap made of fiber-reinforced plastic for highest safety requirements. Midsole: Moisture-absorbing Strobel midsole made of fleece material. HAIX® High Durability Cap System: TPU overcap with special profile for longer service life. HAIX® Protective sole: Flexible, lightweight and penetration-resistant metallic sole insert. Sole: Lightweight rubber/PU sole with sporty appearance and robust road/terrain profile, enhanced rolling comfort, abrasion-resistant and slip-resistant – even in cold conditions. The PU cushioning wedge with its low weight ensures excellent running properties and very good insulation against cold. The outsole is flame-, heat-, fuel-resistant and non-marking according to EN 15090:2012. Visible even in dense smoke thanks to special inserts in yellow signal color. HAIX® Arch Support System: Optimal foot support in the ankle area through anatomically shaped lasts; good foot guidance and secure hold through narrow heel and ankle area, providing even more comfort in the comfortable wide forefoot area. HAIX® Identification System: Name field for boot identification. HAIX® Vario Wide Fit System: The boot can be individually adjusted in width using 3 different insoles. HAIX® Climate System: Micro-Dry lining at the shaft opening uses the pumping motion created when walking and transports moisture to the ventilation openings on the shaft and tongue. HAIX® RAPIDFIT System: Two-zone lacing system for quick, optimal adjustment and fit of the boot. The integrated protector offers additional protection.
