Designed for skiers, RAD LINE 6 mm is an ultralight and compact cord for crevasse rescue, rappelling and roped travel on glaciers to escape from a crevassed area. Hyperstatic and flexible, it features a rough sheath that ensures excellent grip and facilitates maneuvers. It is available in two lengths: 30 and 60 meters.

Detailed description
Ultralight and compact:
– only 22 grams per meter,
– easily carried in a backpack, thanks to its light weight and compact size.
Specific sheath construction:
– compatible with the TIBLOC ascender and MICRO TRAXION and NANO TRAXION progress capture pulleys, thanks to the specific reinforced HDPE sheath (1),
– flexible cord with a rough sheath for excellent grip, to improve control during rappels and facilitate braking action in case of a crevasse fall.
Hyperstatic:
– cord elongation less than 2%, to facilitate and improve efficiency in rescue maneuvers, but also eliminate the yo-yo effect during rappels or in case of crevasse fall arrest,
– allows roped travel on skis to escape from a crevassed area.
