The Trango Tech Leather GTX is a mountaineering shoe made of breathable and waterproof leather for alpine hikes: particularly lightweight, comfortable, and durable thanks to the nubuck shaft. Ideal for technical ascents and work assignments for alpine guides and rescuers. The upper’s seams, with a sleek and modern design, have been minimized to increase overall waterproofness. This shoe is very durable due to the use of high-quality leather and protective microfiber inserts on the shaft. The low-density anti-shock polyurethane midsole reduces ground impact and allows for prolonged use of the shoe, while the shock-resistant rubber layer on the toe and heel actively protects against rock and root impacts. Like every La Sportiva product, the Trango series features the 3D Flex movement system, which supports ankle mobility and a dynamic look. The shoe’s tongue integrated into the upper is made of soft and elastic material to offer maximum comfort, further enhanced by the ergonomic shape and snug fit.
