The AS 940 Sherpa 4WD allows you to mow even in difficult areas. Equipped with a Briggs & Startton slope-friendly engine with fuel and oil pump, the AS 940 Sherpa 4WD is easy to drive even on slopes. In addition to excellent driving, permanent all-wheel drive also ensures safety, especially on slopes: Uphill, they provide better traction and, downhill, enhance the braking effect. The differential lock can be locked with the pedal for even more traction. Traction is ensured by a hydrostatic transmission that can only be controlled by the control lever. Special features: The control lever has four functions. For example, forward and reverse movements, the travel brake and the parking brake are controlled by the control lever. In addition, the AS 940 Sherpa 4WD is equipped with a brake pedal. When the brake pedal is pressed, the drive lever returns to the middle position and the parking brake engages automatically. The 724 cm3 Briggs & Stratton 2-cylinder engine develops up to 27 hp. Sufficient power even under difficult conditions. Intelligent technology – The mowing deck of the AS 940 Sherpa 4WD is enclosed and asphalted and is 90 cm wide. It is equipped with a special AS cross blade system. The cutter bar, equipped with reversible and oscillating blades, eats the cut grass, while the mulching blade above it shreds and shreds it. This process is ensured by the closed mowing hood. This means that you can mow up to 5,500 m²/hour and grass up to 1.5 m high. On the AS 940 Sherpa 4WD model, the grass clippings are ejected centrally and rear-between the wheels. This ensures greater safety, especially on slopes and in the wet, as the grass clippings are not stepped on. An optional mulching kit can be fitted for even finer mulching. Another advantage is the suspension of the mower deck surface. It allows the mowing deck to avoid obstacles from above. For example, when you go over bumps, the mower deck lifts up to prevent the blades from touching the ground. This prevents damage to the lawn and blades. The central spring-loaded cutting height adjustment allows you to conveniently choose between five heights from 50 to 105 mm.

The “go-kart” style seating position ensures absolutely comfortable work. The length-adjustable bucket seat offers a comfortable and optimal seating position for people between 1.60 m and 1.90 m tall. The hardness of the seat suspension can be continuously adjusted to suit the individual user. The side-mounted track breaker and the seating position “inside” the machine
