The VOLTA GUIDE 9 mm rope offers the extreme lightness and compactness necessary for extreme performance at the crag and the flexibility and the most complete hydrophobic treatment for mountaineering. It benefits from the Guide UIAA Dry treatment which gives it excellent resistance to humidity, particularly suitable for daily use in extreme conditions. Thanks to its grip and manoeuvrability, manoeuvres are facilitated. It is available in various lengths according to its intended use, from 30 meters for classic mountaineering to 100 meters for multi-pitch routes at the crag.

Compact and ultra-light for extreme climbing performance:
– ultra-light at only 54 g/m,
– compact, thanks to the thin diameter of 9 mm,
– ClimbReady winding: specific winding to make the rope ready for use. It prevents incorrect unwinding manoeuvres by the user and increases longevity.
Perfect for technical mountaineering and ice climbing, thanks to its excellent resistance to moisture:
– Guide UIAA Dry treatment: complete hydrophobic treatment that allows you to keep a rope dry, in any condition and day after day. It meets the requirements of the UIAA Water repellent test (water absorption less than 2%),
– reinforced resistance, thanks to the UIAA Dry Guide treatment,
– UltraSonic Finish: the core and the sheath are joined at their ends thanks to an ultrasonic finish called UltraSonic Finish. It allows for longer life and prevents the end of the rope from breaking.
Comfort of use:
– flexible rope that facilitates winding, managing the rings and giving rope in belay devices,
– grip of 40 spindles for better control,
– EverFlex treatment: specific heat treatment that stabilizes the wires and makes the rope more homogeneous. It guarantees excellent grip and constant handling over time.
