DESCRIPTION
The Aequilibrium ST GTX is a lightweight technical hiking boot ideal for via ferratas, trekking, and glacier crossings on mixed terrain. Maximum fit comfort thanks to the gusseted tongue and soft snow gaiter on the collar. Exceptional walkability thanks to the innovative Double Heel™ construction: the pronounced dual rear lug geometry increases braking effect on descents and allows a smoother roll, reducing muscle fatigue. Durability and lightness coexist in harmony thanks to the new sole/midsole package with external Rubber Guard™ shell construction and internal expanded material for enhanced cushioning and lightness derived from reduced rubber layers. The last is Ergonomic: snug and precise with integrated TPU shells at the toe and heel to reinforce the upper. The 3D Flex System Evo™ directional hinge with contoured ankle bone and anti-abrasion protection allows better foothold control and perfect ankle mobility. The lacing protection gaiter at the toe protects against abrasion. The midsole is semi-crampon compatible, the sole features a Vibram® SpringLug Tech tread with Impact Brake System lugs for greater adaptability to hard rock surfaces.
