Lightness: light ice axe, but heavy on the head for good anchoring power.
\nHydroformed handle for a good grip on shaping and a technical design:
\n– the handle is curved at the top to ensure a good extraction distance when climbing,
\n– the lower part is straighter and guarantees effective penetration in the snow.
\nHead and blade made of hot-forged steel, to ensure solid anchors:
\n– thin blade (3 mm), sturdy and serrated at the end, to ensure good anchoring quality on hard snow and ice,
\n– thicker blade in the center to facilitate grip on soft snow.
\n– teeth in the upper part to strengthen the hold of the ice axe when used as a technical ice axe,
\n– sturdy stainless steel tip for excellent penetration in hard snow and for use as an ice axe stick.
\nHigh resistance and practical aspects:
\n– very resistant steel shovel to ensure a comfortable support surface and with an edge design that allows effective grading,
\n– inclined shovel to guide the ice axe correctly in the snow (use as an ice axe),
\n – head and tip equipped with holes for the passage of a carabiner or sling,
