A selector button allows you to choose between two belay modes: top-rope climbing or lead climbing. Reinforced for intensive use, it can be used with all single ropes with a diameter between 8.5 and 11 mm. <\/p>\n
Description
\nCam-assisted belay device for practice at the crag and in the gym:
\n– common technique, based on the accompaniment of the rope in the device and the permanent holding of one hand on the rope on the braking side,
\n– belay comfort, thanks to cam-assisted locking: in the event of a fall or rest of the climber, the rope is tightened, the cam rotates and tightens the rope to lock it,
\n– cam-assisted locking that guarantees a high tolerance of the hand on the braking side, regardless of the angle between the climber’s rope and the braking side,
\n – installation drawing on the rope engraved on the belay device (inside and outside).
\nExceptional comfort during the descent:
\n– comfortable grip and easy to release the rope, thanks to the ergonomic handle,
\n– very progressive control of the rope sliding to ensure a smooth and comfortable descent,
\n– reduction of the handle by 3 for better control of the rope sliding on small diameters and less effort on the handle for large rope diameters.
\nParticularly suitable for training and intensive use:
\n– panic handle: if the belayer pulls the handle too hard, the panic function is activated,
\n– choice of belay mode, top-rope climbing or climbing from the forefront, thanks to the lockable selection button: the top-rope belay mode facilitates rope retrieval and ensures a more comfortable belay,
\n– Compatible with all dynamic single strings from 8.5 to 11 mm and optimized for ropes with a diameter of 8.9 to 10.5 mm,
\n– Excellent strength, for intensive use, thanks to the stainless steel reinforcement plate.
